ABOUT US
The history of Kateplan Oy began in December 2000 with a vision of a company that does not compromise on quality. Since then, we have come a long way from the early years in Helsinki to our current location in Tuusula, but our basic idea has remained the same: we protect the Finnish building stock and build projects where others cannot afford to.
We stand out from other players in the industry because the majority of our employees are proudly Kateplan employees. We do not rely on long and uncertain subcontracting chains, but rather rely on our own professional team. It is a matter of honor for us that the work is carried out by familiar and committed personnel who take responsibility for their work from the beginning to the end of the project.
We are building the future
We now specialize in highly demanding renovations, where construction expertise is truly valued. As proof of this, we have been involved in the implementation of some of Finland's most challenging projects. Our footprint can be seen, for example, in the Central Library Oodi, one of the country's tallest office buildings, the Finago Tower in Keilaniemi, formerly known as the Neste Tower. Iconic landmarks like this require the utmost precision from their builders. We have also secured hundreds of schools, daycare centers and public buildings, as well as, of course, numerous housing companies around the country.
For us, roof repairs or waterproofing are not just a technical performance, but a comprehensive responsibility for the life cycle of the property. We are proud to offer our customers peace of mind in the form of a 10-year warranty and proactive maintenance service. At Kateplan, we know that the difference between a professional and an amateur is made by the smallest details that others may not notice. We always notice them.
Sponsorship
We believe that a responsible company also supports communities. We support Finnish top sports, and in 2026 we will be involved in the operations of Jokerit, HIFK and the Northern Stars women's floorball team.
